BED BUG TREATMENTS AND INSPECTIONS

Bed bugs are one of the most resilient parasites on the planet. They Have been on this Earth since caveman days, have changed, adapted, and continue to become resistant to chemicals. This is why it’s important to choose the correct treatment options. Mountain Pest Control offers several treatment options. Chemical, Heat, and a combination of both. All depending on the size and scope of the infestation. If you prefer no chemical heat is a great option and more efficient!

We also offer inspection options. Our technicians are well versed in bed bug inspections. BUT IN SOME CASES THERE ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO DETECT !! We also offer a certified canine and handler for inspection. The canine is trained to detect live bed bugs. This option is beneficial in the hospitality industry, health care facilities , commercial buildings, apartment/multi unit living, vehicles, buses, planes, dormitories, or any large facility where bed bug activity has occurred. We do use in private residents. Can assist in pin pointing the location of the small bed bug infestation.

We also offer training for hospitality staff and protocols for when it does happen in all facilities. It’s not a matter if, it’s a matter when !!

Thorough inspections are critical. Our crew is very well-versed in bedbugs and the difficulty in eliminating this pest, and the methods of treatment. We also have certified detection canines available.

  • Bedbug specific materials can be applied to harborage sites by well-trained technicians. Follow up inspections are necessary due to the life cycles and characteristics of the bug.
  • Please use a professional. Using the wrong materials or treatments can worsen the situation by spreading the problem.
  • We now offer heat treatments specifically designed for bed bug service. Heat treatments allow for reduced, or no use of chemical products. This is ideal for chemical sensitive people or situations such as hospitals and nursing homes. In most cases the bugs are eliminated in a single treatment.
  • We offer staff training for hotels, motels, and multi-family housing.
